Wedding Cakes used to be just a prop at the Wedding Reception. You had to have one and no one thought to much about it. There was not a lot of choice. A two or three tier cake; frosted with white frosting and stick a few roses on the side and then add the hollow plastic couple tettering on the top or if you got real crazy, you might stick the water fountain underneath! That was basically what Brides had to choose from.

Well, times have changed. Bakers now turn out Wedding Cakes that are true masterpieces. They are as delicious as they are beautiful. Fillings, flavors, and textures are just as important as the way the cake looks.

GROOM'S CAKE: DOUBLE THE YUM!

These Cakes are becoming increasingly popular....but are not required. Traditionally this second Cake was chocolate, but that no longer is the rule. Many couples choose a personal or crazy design for the Groom's Cake. Such as a favorite hobby or better yet, a best-loved sports team. A Horseshoe Cake or a Four-Leaf Clover Cake symbolizes Good Luck!

The Groom's Cake can be cut and boxed up so Guests can't take a slice home, or it can be served as a 2nd Cake at the Reception.
